Thank you for the update, I can tell you have poured your heart and soul into this. Manacled changed me mentally in a way I can never be grateful enough for. Just like I loved it, I look forward to loving Alchemised. I know its going to make me swoon and cry all within a couple pages and send me on an emotional rollercoaster. The way you write as an author is eloquent and beautiful and scratches my brain so well haha I am really excited for this book, and from one fan to you the author, I appreciate your hard work. I thought it was a very effective way to tell the story! I guess I have another question - will this be published in a physical format as well as ebook, and will there be an opportunity to purchase a signed physical copy?
You are one of the most phenomenal authors I've read and I'm so EXCITED for Alchemized!!! Hearing these updates makes me (and others I'm sure) tingle with anticipation - we love a thiccc book of quality world building. And to have some differences from Manacled will keep us on edge reading!!!! CANT WAIT!!
I am so thrilled for Alchemised and grateful for this update. A peek behind the curtain is always a nice way to hold oneself over as one anticipates the arrival of something exciting.
As you mentioned in this update, I read Manacled all in one, after the full story had been completed. I never considered the serialized nature of the story, that writing a fanfiction with the intention of the reader digesting it weekly will be different to those who read it all in one go. Since we won't all be waiting a week to read each chapter of Alchemised when it comes out, I'm very curious to see how the flow of the story differs now that it's intended to be read as one (enormous) book.
I'd like to think reading the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson whose books are also over a thousand pages long, has prepared me well to read Alchemised. That and having read the original fanfiction, of course.
The thing I am most excited for before the actual book comes out is the cover design. As a graphic designer, I am very curious to see the direction you go in and the tone that it will set.
Some things do look bleak for 2025, but this is something to get excited about and that makes all the difference.
I am buzzing with the intensity of a hundred suns. I can't wait to finally have it in my arms!!
Please tell me there will be an opportunity to acquire a signed copy because I need to display this wonder smack bang in the middle of my display unit. I will be a historian in preserving the sacred texts. (Please come to the UK if you're doing a book tour)!
I cannot stress this enough: THE BIGGER THE BOOK THE BETTER! I'm so looking forward to this because I love Manacled and I'm sure I'll love everything you (re)created to make this story a traditionally published book. sooooo incredibly happy for you and this journey!

I red Manacled when I was in a very dark place in my life and it took my mind out of a lot of things and just kept me busy with being the biggest fan of this masterpiece and I am sure that Alchemised will be as good or even better.
